We get to know Scout during the first few chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird. Scout has a lot of trouble on her first day of school and she doesn't get along with her teacher, Miss Caroline. When Scout is upset about school, Atticus gives her some advice for dealing with the situation. He says, "...if you can learn a simple trick, Scout, you'll really get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
Do you agree or disagree with Atticus' advice? Why? What can you tell about Atticus (as a father and as a person) by his statement? What other advice would you give Scout?

heros.
My definition of a hero is someone who helps other people. A hero doesn't have to be like superman or spider man. There are hero's everywhere, for example, if you and your friend are swimming and you start to drowned and they save you. Well then they are a hero cause they saved your life. The characteristics of a hero are, when people help other people. Heros try to help everyone they can. No , I think the definition of hero never changes, unless people stop helping other people.

Heros
Another hero to me can be a teacher , because they help us learn and help us get a good education, i also think they are hero's because they put up with squash everyday and still come to school and are willing to teach . That's a definition of a Hero.

Heroes
Heroes
The word hero has a different meaning in everyone, meaning there is a audible definition for everybody's hero. My hero, is one who can help me with my issues, not necessarily issues like you'd see in a comic book, but ideologically speaking as well. The closest thing to a hero, to me, would be my father, he's always helped me with problems I've had if any, and on my math homework. He visits me whenever possible. More than likely, I'm sure everyone has some sort of hero in their life, that has helped them make it this far. If you don't, how have you made it this far?
the word hero means to me is , a hero is some one you look up to ,it doesn't even matter if you are an adult or a child people have there ways of looking up to a hero .any ways in my prospective the word would never change .
Heroes
physically, they can also save you mentally and spiritually. I don't think the definition of a hero can change over time because then anything can change. Can the definition of a villian change over time? I don't think so.

Question 2 closed for posting...

well i think that it depends on how you were brought up or raised ,because
some people don't care what or how the were raise .but on the real side people will behave if they don't have bad influences in their life or surroundings.
I care about myself ,but some people have low self- esteem so that would make them not care about themselves, but people with confidence take very good care of their self .

MDG/COA Question
I remember one time, when my life was tough at one point, my cousin and my best friend started talking. One day I found out that both of them were saying things behind my back. As soon as I found out the horrible things they were saying about me, I felt so back stabbed, and betrayed by my own family, and friend. Obviously, I wanted to seek revenge, but at heart, that's not the type of person I am. I just let it go, and day by day passed, and they both ended up apologizing for their dumb mistake.
MDG/COA QUESTION
Most people only care about themselves
1. The first story's antagonist thinks that weaker humans than he is are just made to serve the strong which is a self-centered way of thinking. The second story's antagonit/main character, he murdered his own friend just for only a mere insult that even I could just laugh at it and forget it forever like it neer did existed. Those are my proofs from the story that we read.
2. The guys here that think so much better than others, are the best examples, they want others to give hem respect for just being strong but unessessary fightin is just for people who wants to show off or just to prove that they are man enough, which only means that they doubt on what they're real gender is. He thinks that he is better then the others and doesn't think of what others think of him. The second good example is the people who does nothing and displays their bulky bodies around a certain area then makes a mess and theybame others that it is their fault while he is the really one who did it. Those are my examples for the people in the real world but this didn't happened to me but I see these things almost everyday.

MDG/COA Question
Then there are some cases when people do something that they think will do good but backfires and actually causes bad things to happen. Like for example, my brother had been going through my backpack and he took my homework out of it. I went to school the next day and got a zero for it. When i got home I asked why he was in my backpack and he said he was trying to be nice and organize it. So you see sometimes you mean good, but it doesnt always turn out good.
Quetion on Humanity
Paragraph 2:Their was A personal problem that I had is that thier was A bulley at my elementry school. He was nice at the beging of the year but than he changed. He got into the wrong crowd I think. Than when he started hanging around me and my friends he started to calm down. At the end of the year he got the most improved student award. That is one of my personal problem I had.

Question number one and response
Part 2:I think I could improve my sumarizing skill is to practice writing smaller promts than working up to the larger promts. I could also work in work books on sumarizing to help me get all of the main points into the story. The last way I could ask the teacher for help if I needed some advise. That is how I think I could improve my writing skills.

Question Number One Closed
****PUT "QUESTION NUMBER ONE RESPONSE" AS YOUR POST'S TITLE****
Part I: What part of the writing process do you find the most challenging? (Pre-writing (brainstorming), drafting (putting words to paper), revising for quality, editing for errors, or publishing your work.) Explain which part is the hardest for you and explain why you struggle with it.
**Note: You can choose more than one part of the writing process, but you need to explain why each part you choose is hard for you.
Part II: What do you think you could do to improve your skills in that part of the writing process? (Be specific. Saying, "I could practice more," is not going to be specific enough to answer this question.)
